Nothing to be honest . Its a very upscale and posh environment and some may dislike it and this is not disadvantage but rather an advantage of it. Apart from this its a very good environment . read more

Elamakkara is a booming locality which has emerged as the epicenter of many things that make up the essential Kochi. It connects the city to most of its components, either directly or as an alternative route. It links the industrial cornerstones of the city, Aluva and Eloor to each other and to Kochi itself. Two vital national highways that link the Kochi Bypass junction near Elamakkara are NH 47 and NH 17. NH-47 that links Salem and Kanyakumari passes through the locality via Coimbatore, Kochi and Trivandrum thereby facilitating commuters to travel on daily basis whereas NH 17 initiates at Edappally and continues up to Panvel in Maharashtra. The region is also connected by Edappally Railway Station and the recently inaugurated Railway Over Bridge makes journey between Ernakulam Guruvayoor Route more convenient. It connects the locality of Vytilla and brings all the benefits of its connectivity without any clutter. The IT core of Kakkanad and the Infopark also connects with the rest of the world through Elamakkara. The International Airport is also a straight route through Aluva outskirts.
