The place is just 2 minutes walking distance from helabottola bus stand from where you can get buses for everywhere in Kolkata,in noapara there is a school for children's which is a well known school in the locality.Banks are available nearby and especially a newly opened federal bank is there.Barasat district hospital is just 2 minutes away from here.The barasat district police station is just 1 min away from here.Dominos is just opposite to the place.The great thing about the place is connectivity and the cleanliness. read more

The disliking about the place is the traffic.The place is just beside krisnanagar road and people of the place know about the irritating traffic of this road caused by lorries.There is a problem of water in entire Barasat and this is not because of water shortage but because of water quality. read more

Streetlights are Working properly. and the Local Market Is approximately 5-8mins from here. and no water logging on the street. the Shopping Malls are Approximately 10mins by Toto Bus Auto. read more

Barasat is a locality in the northwestern part of Kolkata. It is located on the outskirts of the city and is thus at quite some distance from several prominent parts of Kolkata, especially those in the central part of the city. The airport is not that far from the locality. Barasat falls under the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority. Various important highways pass through this locality including NH-34 and NH-112. The Eastern Railway line passes through this locality and connects the locality to Sealdah. Apart from the railway line, the locality would soon offer metro services to its residents. The Line 4 of the Kolkata Metro which would connect the Noapara locality to Barasat via the airport is under construction at the moment.Barasat offers all basic amenities to its residents in close range, be it schools, hospitals, markets, parks, public transportation, etc. The locality is just 12 km away from the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport.
