Naihati is a suburban area located in North 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India. This city is one of the oldest cities in the country and is very well known as the birthplace of Bankim Chanda Chattopadhaya, who wrote our National song- Vande Mataram. Despite it being one of the oldest cities, Naihati has grown tremendously over the past decade. The residential prices have become affordable for more and more people migrating here for work purposes. The city's population density is 10,967 per sq. km. with a total population of 217,900.
