Botad is a leading city cum district headquarters to the Botad District in Gujarat. It is roughly 92 km away from Bhavnagar and 133 km away from Ahmedabad via road. The district has been carved out of Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad and was once part of the Bhavnagar District. It is named after Damodar Botadkar.
