Rajsamand is a city in Rajasthan. It is in the Rajsamand district and is named after Rajsamand lake. Rana Raj Singh of Mewar created it during the 17th century. The district is the administrative headquarter. It is at 25.07°N 73.88°E with 547 metres elevation. It has a total of 987,024 population, among which 493,459 are male, and 493,565 are female. It is just 62km from Udaipur. The district offers eye-catching beauty and has Aravali hills on all its sides, along with the beautiful Rajsamand Lake.
