Sirsa is one of the historic districts you can find in Haryana, most famously known for its size. It is the largest district in Haryana, with a total surface area of 4,277 km2. It is located on NH 10 and is at a distance of about 250 km from India’s capital, Delhi. You can reach Sirsa by both flight and rail; however, it is easier through rail as Sirsa’s own railway station is available and well-connected to all other major cities of India. Nevertheless, you can still visit here by flight, but you will have to use the Ludhiana Airport, which is the closest one at a distance of about 170 km.
