Alwar is a major city that is located in the National Capital Region of India. The city was formerly known as Ulwar. It is a tourism hub which attracts many visitors from across the country. The area of Alwar is about 8380 sq. km and has an estimated population of 4,61,600. Rajasthani and Hindi languages are spoken here. English is spoken by a few. The climate of Alwar is extremely humid and hot. It rains the most in August. The best Climate in the city is during the winter season.
