Jhajjar is a leading city in the District of Jhajjar, Haryana. It was divided from the District of Rohtak back in 1997. The city lies on the road that links Rohtak and Rewari. It is connected through the National Highways 352 and 34B. It lies 55 km away from New Delhi. It is known for having given many brave soldiers to the Nation over the years. The population of Jhajjar stood at 958,405 people as of the year 2011. The coordinates of Jhajjar are 28°36′20″N 76°39′20″E.
