Because of the frequent vehicle movement and honking, the area is very noisy and polluted with dust. Traffic congestion is severe during peak hours, and the area is densely populated. It has very little greenery and is quite hot, especially during the summer season.

The KR Puram station is about 400 metres from where I live. It's a good neighbourhood, and most online food/grocery apps deliver here, but as you head towards the station for the main road (Platform 1 side), there are many butcher shops, and the smell coming from them is both irritating and offensive.

Dooravani Nagar is a Bangalore neighbourhood in the city's eastern outskirts. It is home to numerous government offices. The Indian Telephone Industries (ITI), which has been in operation for 50 years, is a notable landmark in the neighbourhood. is surrounded by Kuvempu Nagar, KR Puram, A Narayanpura, B Narayanpura, and Pai Layout and is close to the IT centres of Whitefield and Marathahalli. This fast-growing Bangalore neighbourhood is adjacent to ITPL. Kasturinagar Park, an adventure park, has been opened in Dooravani Nagar. One of Bangalore's largest lakes, the Yelemallappa Shetty Lake at Medahalli, is located just outside the eastern boundaries of KR Puram. The old Mahabaleshwara and Rama Temple complex is also beside the lake. The Kashi Vishweshwara and Kote Venkataramana temples are also nearby.
