River Yamuna forms its easternmost boundary with the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is an important industrial hub of India and contributes to approximately 50% of Haryana's total tax collection. According to the last census, Faridabad has an impressive literacy rate of 83%. Sector 8, Faridabad, is connected to Sant Surdas road and Faridabad bypass road, which makes it convenient for the residents to travel to other parts of the city.
