Nelamangala is well connected to the other major cities of Bangalore via NH-48 (Bangalore-Mangalore) and NH-4 (Mumbai-Chennai Highway). The nearest railway station from the locality is the Nelamangala railway station (7 km) and Golhali railway station (7.4 km). The nearest metro station from the NelaMangala is Nagasandra (14 km), located on the Green Line (Nagasandra to Yelachenahalli) of Bangalore Metro.
