Saharanpur, is the city and municipal corporation in Uttar Pradesh. The city was given its name after Saint Shah Haroon Chisti. Major Roads like National Highway 73 and other two state highways run east, west and south. These roads are well-connected with Dehradun, Haridwar, Chandigarh and Delhi. Main railway station is Saharanpur Railway Station which is well-connected with the interstate metropolises such as New Delhi, Dehradun, Rishikesh etc. The closest major airport to Saharanpur is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun which is 90 km away from main city.
