Sasaram is an old historical city and a municipal corporation region in the Rohtas district of the Bihar state in eastern India. Its coordinates are 24.95°N 84.03°E and has an average elevation of 200 metres. The common languages spoken here are Hindi, Urdu and Bhojpuri. As of 2020 India census, Sasaram had a population of 351,408. It experiences relatively high temperatures and seasonable climate.
