Kismatpur is a town in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy District and lies near Hyderabad. It comes within the purview of the Gandipet Mandal. It has also been merged within the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) in the past. The total area is 4.17 square kilometres for this locality. The area is famous since it is the burial spot for Nawab Khwaja Abid Siddiqi. He is the Nizam of Hyderabad’s descendent and the Chief Commander of the army of Aurangzeb at the siege of Golconda.
