Towards the southern outskirts of Chennai, you will find the residential area of Sembakkam. It is located near the major IT centers along the Old Mahabalipuram Road, so it has become a popular residential area (OMR). Several more communities, including Santhosapuram, Gowrivakkam, Kamarajapuram, Ganesh Nagar, and Natraj Nagar, surround Sembakkam on all sides. Because Velachery Main Road runs through here, it is easy to go to different parts of the city. Tambaram Sanatorium Railway Station may be reached by traveling via Velachery Main Road for 5 kilometers. Nearly 10 kilometers along the Chennai - Nagapattinam Highway will get you to the blue line's Chennai International Airport Metro Station. Some buses constantly run to and from Sembakkam, and you can get a train from Tambaram to the rest of the city. The area's proximity to more desirable neighborhoods like Velachery, Tambaram, and OMR has caused its property values to soar.
